Hubble captures 1.5 billion pixel picture of Andromeda Galaxy

Recently, NASA released an image captured by the Hubble Telescope – a panoramic, 1.5 billion pixel picture that would take 600 HD TVs to properly display it.

Hailing as the largest picture ever taken in the history of mankind, the stellar photo displays one hundred million stars in a 61,000 light-year-long portion of the Andromeda Galaxy.

Following the release of the picture, YouTube user Daveachuck published a video that highlights the breathtaking beauty of Andromeda. Check it out below, but be warned – you might wanna prepare a box of issues beforehand! I know it made me tear up.  :)
